Clown Loach

Clown Loach are a  shoaling fish and need a large aquarium. They are useful for controlling snail infestations. Clown Loach can extend the spikes  found in the groove below the eye this is a defence. They should be handed carefully as the spine may cause a pain- ful wound.






Synonyms: Botia macracanthus.

Distribution: Borneo, Indonesia & Malaysia.

Size:  30cm+ (12"+)

Compatibility: Community.

Tank Size: large tank with good filtration.

Temperature: 22-28c

Lighting: Low light levels.

Sexual Dimorphism: Male are slimmer with a more forked tail.

Feeding: Catfish pellets, flake,frozen food or granuals.


Hill Stream Loach

Hillstream Loach is also known as the Butterfly Hillstream Loach, Hong Kong pleco, and Chinese sucker fish. These fish come from the rapid-moving streams of Asia, and their streamlined bodies are built to withstand those strong currents.

Lighting: Bright

Sexual Dimorphism: Mature males are fuller bodied 

Feeding: Algae waffers, catfish pellets,granules, flake & Frozen food.

Special Requirement: well oxygenated water is essential. 


Silver Shark

It is a peaceful fish that will ignore smaller fish like Tetras when they are small. As they reach full size they can get aggressive towards smaller fish. Keep them with semi-aggressive larger fish. They are curious fish with lots of personality and character.

Distribution: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia & Malaysia

Compatibility: Semi aggressive when larger.

Sexual Dimorphism: Mature females have a deeper body male are a slimer fish.

Black Redtail Shark

Red-tailed black sharks are territorial and aggressive to other fish, and especially intolerant of other red-tailed black sharks. They will establish their own territory and will harass and chase other fish within its territory, though having a larger space with plenty of hiding places can dissipate their aggression.

Rainbow sharks have more aggressive personalities than many other ray-finned fish.They're considered a semi-aggressive breed in the aquarium environment.

Keep this territorial fish singly or in groups in a larger well-furnished aquarium, alongside robust or significantly smaller fishes
