We are a large wakefield garden centre on Denby Dale Road, here at Hampsons you will find in store one of the larger cafes in wakefield and ice cream parlour.

We are also now the home of Charlottes ice cream which is maufactured on site for retail and trade sales.

Open 7 days a week we stock a large range of shrubs, seasonal bedding plants, houseplants, tubs, pots, hanging baskets, garden sundries, pet supplies, cold/tropicalfish & homeware products.

Our in store florists are on hand to help you with your floral requests from weddings, funerals, motherday & valenties day,  special Occasions or just to cheer up your home/office.

Afternoon tea’ refers to a  British tradition established by the Duchess of Bedford, in the 19th century. When first introduced, the practice of sitting down for afternoon tea wasn’t seen as a treat. It had a  practical purpose – to fill the gap between lunch and dinner.
